homemade oreo's

i decided to do this adorable idea from
it is 7 ways in 7 days to knock the socks off your spouse.

sweet treat sunday
massage monday
touch tuesday
woo him wednesday
thank him thursday
fun activity friday
sweet nothings sunday
cute, right?
sunday, we made these oreo cookies.
they are way popular in our family.
we all like to make them.
they're easy, fun, and de-lish.
they're good. almost too good.

here are the ingredients:

1/2 c. vegetable oil.
1 chocolate cake mixes
i like devil's food cake mix. it is super dark and looks more like oreo's.
2 eggs.
cream cheese/vanilla frosting
some like to make their own, but i just buy mine in a container

*this makes cookies for 2-4 people.
so double each ingredient if needed.
sorry about the lighting...

  • mix all three ingredients together
  • roll into little balls to place on a greased cookie sheet.
the balls should be a tiny bit larger than a quarter.
  • place in the oven and bake for 8 minutes at 350 degrees.
  • let sit for 10 minutes, or until cool. spread frosting in the middle,
place another cookie on top, squeeze together, and bam. oreo cookie.

oh, and make sure to have a fight
with the frosting afterwards.
followed by licking it off of each other's face.
what?
