what's your story?

i enjoy hearing from my readers.

i have heard so many awesome stories from some.
i also learn a lot from certain people and their experiences.

i feel like i've gotten pretty personal on this blog of mine.
remember this post?

i don't necessarily believe that a blog should be solely the good part of your life.
because it makes you unrelatable.

i strive to include every detail.
the sad parts and the oh so good parts of my life.

i find myself wondering certain things about certain people....
how did they get to their current place in life?

i have this role model.
and i am constantly asking,
"how did she get there?
what trials and hardships did she face to allow her to be so incredibly strong?"

it's fascinating, really.

 what is your story?
what got you to where you are now?
what hardships have you faced that allowed you to become who you are today?

  3. This is great. I think so often I go through life and it just flies by. I think it's important to reflect upon the good and bad times. Both the good and bad make a person who they are. It can be hard to reflect or remember the bad times, but it makes me incredibly blessed to be through that stage and in such a wonderful place now! :)

  4. Right now, life is a big ole' bag of confusion. Last year I was doing great, working a job I wasn't totally in love with, but it was a job. In September, I was getting married to the man of my dreams & we were looking forward to our future together.

Then in January, I was told that my company was letting my whole department go & I would be out of a job. Thankfully, the hubs & hadn't made any major life changes after the wedding. Now I'm unemployed, & on the verge of moving 2 hours away from home, if hubs gets the job he's applied for. I'm scared, nervous & excited.

And I know we wouldn't be where we are today, if I hadn't been laid off, because he never would have applied where he did. Through it all, I have to keep telling myself, all of this has happened for a reason. And although I have my hard days, I can only look to the future & smile at what it has to offer.

Wow. I didn't know that was going to all come out in a comment! Love this post!!
