winter darkness.

let's talk about how i am so sick & tired of winter.
when mr. schroeder & i went to cancun,
i totally thought we were going to come back to warm weather.
we did...for one day.
it has snowed countless times & i am. tired. of. it.

these photos were taken during my shoot with kirsten.
pretty, right? like really really gorgeous.
that week was the end of my winter. i was totally over it after that.
i have always been the kind of person to say,
"you live in utah. why are you freaking out? if you can't handle it, move."
& i still am that way, really. but it's time for spring. march. spring. yes.
it keeps snowing.
and my coats are tired.
my boots are getting worn out...mentally.
& i think if it snows once more before spring hits,
i will be diagnosed with seasonal affective disorder.

  4. Oh my goodness! Why haven't I found your blog before now? Good thing we both love Lauren or I wouldn't have found ya! I loooove your layout! So, I feel really bad (and this is something Lauren and I talk about) but if you want we can switch places for a bit. I live in Florida and it's HOT (yes, hot in March) and I love cold weather. I hope we can become blogging buddies!

  6. Listen.

I've found your cure. I hope you're sitting down for this. Move to Southern Utah. It's 70 today. 70.

Northern Utah may have better food, and a sexier men, for the most part Southern Utah is gross in that department. But we got the weather.

    THE END.

P.S. Your photos gave me pneumonia.

  7. I've got SAD. It stinks. Get a UV light, seriously a life saver. Vitamin D is your friend.

  8. I seriously never realized how cruddy the Utah winters (especially in Logan!) were until I moved away! I'm not sure I could move back right now. I feel like I need a few more warm winters to make up for all the cold ones I've survived. Sending hugs and sunshine your way!! xoxo
