before marriage

before marriage, i did not know men didn't have to use toilet paper when they peed.
speaking of toilet paper, before marriage, i didn't know the toilet paper would never be replaced.
before marriage, i did not know that even though your income doubles, your bills do, too.
before marriage, i did not know there could ever be something so hard yet so rewarding in your life.
before marriage, i never realized the beauty of family & the beauty of ancestors.
before marriage, i was nothing but selfish.
before marriage, i didn't know half the definitions of the slang mr. schroeder uses for his body parts.
before marriage, i had no idea what blue darts were & probably would've scrunched up my face in disgust after finding out.
before marriage, i didn't realize we both have to have jobs & actually grow up after 'i do.'
before marriage, i could never imagine saying, "i want a baby" in this lifetime.
before marriage, temples were never a major role in my life.
before marriage, i thought i loved mr. schroeder more than i ever would. but it increases daily.
i am so grateful for marriage. it has blessed me in ways i don't even know how to explain.
it has truly taught me the importance of forever families.

& before marriage, i have no idea how i even got by.

speaking of marriage, i'm guest posting on april's blog today. click here to check it out!

  13. Hahahaha, I love this! Oh men, what would we do without them, but why do we choose to live with them?! Just be glad that you don't know what buttercups and covered wagons are, or maybe you do. Luckily my husband isn't that cruel, but I've heard stories from other wives and I'm surprised that they laugh about it. :P
