my prized possessions

lately, i've been thinking about all my prized possessions. boy, i am lucky. there are a few things in this world that i'm just obsessed over & i can't seem to let them go. i wanted to share my most prized possessions & why i love them so much. some are sentimental & some speak for itself.

my family & my husbands family.

my family, my husband, and my in-laws bring out the best in me. it seems like i can never be in a negative mood without someone cheering me up. there's too many reasons to be happy. and they have taught me that.

2. my wedding ring.

not only is the story behind it just amazing, my ring is the shiz. but really. the meaning of the ring, the ring itself, all of it, just....great. i've been married for about a year and a half & still manage to glance down every single day and smile at it. it sparkles back. love it.

3. my harp.

music is crucial for me. i'm thinking about music 24/7. i have already booked a few weddings for the next few months & am so excited to start playing the harp more & more. my parents used to say that instead of buying me a car, they bought me a harp. my harp..is my car.

4. mr. monk monk.

if you don't know who that is or what he represents, i think you need to click here to read  about him & his adventures. i wouldn't sell him for $1,000,000. and i mean that.

5. my diamonds. girl's best friend? just about.

if you wanna read the sentimental story on the beautiful tanzanite, click here. my mom is a gem. and the tanzanite is so sentimental & wonderful. i try not to wear it too often because of how special it is. as goes for my other supa' pretty ring, i received that as my graduation gift. freaking beautiful & timeless.

each of these are so special & dear to my heart. i was recently asked if my house was on fire & mr. schroeder was safe, what would i save? each of these items came running. but the main one that is so dear to my heart that i can't ever rid is the book of mormon.

this book allowed me to change my life. my priorities. it even taught me that possessions aren't what should matter. it's the gospel that matters. the kind of service you should do for other people. the love you show. the positive actions you pursue. when it boils down to it. possessions aren't even in the scheme of what really matters. speaking of the book of mormon, if anybody wants me to send them one, free of charge, email me at wenserendipity[at]gmail[dot]com.
