soak it all in.

this quote describes how i feel to a tee. my therapist taught me that each and every day, we must relax. whether it be listening to music, doing yoga, taking a nap, or doing something you enjoy, we must all relax. for date night this week, mr. schroeder & i decided to go fishing & to grab some shaved ice at a place everybody told us about!

unfortunately, we didn't catch any fish. but i was able to stop, take all the beauty around me in, and thank God for the beautiful world i live in. this place is gorgeous. there are countless stunning places to feel like your breath is going to be taken away. oh, how i love this place.

i have to say, i was a bit disappointed in luckys sno cone shack. i have heard some amazing things about that place. and though it was good, i didn't think it was any better than other places. but i'm willing to break my eat clean to find the perfect place. ha! it is impossible to clean eat for the whole summer and not break your rules even once.

on a completely random note, if you're wanting to ask me any question anonymously or not, click here. i'll be answering them tomorrow. whoot!

  2. Oh how fun!!! Our camping trip this weekend was so relaxing because we had no cell phone service and were just hanging out together doing nothing and enjoying each other's company!

  5. Blow me away snow cone! Suhweet! And what a great quote. Just read your comment on Ali's blog and have to back her up: motherhood rocks. It changes everything big and small, and especially you as a person, but they are the best kind of changes. I love being a mama! P.S. You've a cute blog going here!
