the easiest yummiest snack you'll ever eat

some call it puppy chow.
some call it muddy buddies.

allrecipes.com tends to dig "puppy chow."
while chex mix makes their own muddy buddies.

what do you call it?

either way,
this recipe is absolutely ridiculously amazing.
i got it from all recipes.

it's a delicious little snack.
and it's definitely better if eaten the day after.
i learned that the hard way.

i like to double the recipe
and have double the amount of goodness.
it's up to you.

9 cups crispy rice cereal squares.
1/2 cup of peanut butta.
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips.
1 1/2 cups confectioners' sugar.

1. in a saucepan over low heat, melt the chocolate;
add peanut butter and mix until smooth.
*it's super easy to burn chocolate.
make sure you are stirring it because it will melt quick!*

2. remove from heat, add cereal and stir until coated.

3. pour powdered sugar into large plastic bag,
add cereal and shake until well coated.
store in airtight container.

4. eat..later...and enjoy those babies.
they're rather addicting.

  5. I'll have to try this recipe! I've only tried something like this once and it was disastrous. Rough.

  6. I've enjoyed puppy chow before, but never made it on my own. Is nine cups of cereal about a box? More?
