Dear Trevor

Today marks two absolutely blissful years with you. I have been looking forward to this day for the last couple of weeks for a variety of reasons. I will be the very first to admit that the first year of marriage was hard. There were so many ups and there were so many downs. We were figuring each other out and let's just say that I had some flukes to fix. After our first year anniversary, things seemed to be a breeze. Our marriage has not been perfect. But it has been oh so dreamy. Throughout these past two years, you have taught me how to love myself when I just couldn't anymore. You have taught me to realize the important things in life, and the important people in life. You have taught me how to forgive myself. You've taught me to take up archery - you even taught me so good that I can usually beat you at the whole aiming thing. You have even taught me how to look on the bright side of things.

You want to know one of the things I love most about you? Your humor. Remember when we had been married for just under a week, and we were showering together? I was ready to get out and you looked at me with this weird look and said, "You don't wash the bottom of your feet?" I, acting completely confused, asked, "Well, teach me how to do it because I've never done that." You told me to sit on the side of the tub and put soap on my feet, then stand up and it'll get all of it off. I thought it was strange, but I did it. We had only been married for a week, and I didn't want you to think I was a weirdo. Strange enough, I stood up and nearly fell because of how slippery it was, but you caught me. You and I both laughed for a solid 30 minutes afterward. You are just the best. You make life fun. You make my life feel like it's a fairytale, and you treat me like a princess, even with your silly pranks.

Trevor John, I could go on and on about how amazing you are to me. You are the most gentle, sweet, loving, and humble man I have ever met. And I get to be married to you! I love your laugh. I love the crazy scared look you get when you wake up in the morning and wonder if you're late for work. I love the way you look at me, even when you're mad at me. I love the way you can't keep a beat for the life of you. I love the wrinkle between your eyes that you get when you're flustered because it is absolutely adorable. I love your testimony of the gospel. I absolutely love when you get teary eyed from talking about those most important to you. Most importantly, I love that you are mine. Happy 2nd anniversary, my love. I couldn't be more grateful to know that I am the girl that gets to spend eternity with you.
